Abstract
This study discusses the design, development, and implementation of a digital storytelling workshop for older adults. The paper reports on the post-evaluation of three iterations of the workshop in three different centres. Adjustments were made for the second iteration and these are discussed. The facilitation and a socially supportive environment were important to digital learning. Participants reported increased skills in digital storytelling as well as other computer and internet skills. Finally, it was found that participants enjoyed the contribution of others and sharing of stories, creative expression through learning story creation, and facilitation. The main difficulty reported by participants was related to time restrictions.
