Abstract

This paper introduces the Agora Framework (AF), a modelling tool to help design, evaluate and deploy eLearning models. An eLearning model in AF resembles a business model, and consists of various blocks, each block addressing one main aspect of the eLearning business, such as: learners (consumers), eLearning types (products) to be delivered, pedagogical basis for course design, hardware and software resources, among others. We describe how to use AF in designing an eLearning model, and outline the role that AF may play within an eLearning engineering.
