Abstract
There are huge amount of Open Educational Resources (OER) provided by academic institutes now. Learners have an advantaged environment in which they can use the educational materials for free in their learning. General text search techniques, however, are not enough to provide an efficient search function for them. This drawback makes it difficult for learners to fully exploit the promising OER. We propose to solve the problem by providing an environment in which learners can search for educational materials efficiently using a set of concept networks derived from the existing OER. The result of experiment with the actual OER shows the availability of the proposed method.
