Abstract

This paper presents feature extraction method for recognition of isolated characters. Feature extraction is most important factor in achieving high recognition performance. We presented moments invariants as features for pattern recognition. This article analyzes the image feature extraction task on the basis of moments invariants for image recognition problem.
