Abstract
Commercial clouds have gained a lot of popularity because of easy access to high quality services. Private clouds and community clouds have emerged as an answer to the security concerns raised by commercial clouds. A community cloud is build up by resources made available by the community members and provides services adapted to the needs of the community. In this paper we present a community cloud design that focus on the properties of the social bindings within a community and look at how the characteristics of a community can effect the cloud.
